Stem Cell Transplant - in or out patient

I’m scheduled to have a stem cell transplant, due to my multiple myeloma diagnosis. My insurance has approved two different facilities. One is a 2 week in patient stay then weekly visits as out patient. And the other is all out patient and I would stay in transplant house or nearby hotel. And would get myself to appts as out patient.

Does anyone have an opinion on which route is best for the patient?
