CML

I was diagnosed with CML in 2020. I don't know anyone with it. I have a wonderful oncologist who monitors my symptoms.

  1. It sounds like you found an oncologist that you like. I did also, which helped me very much. We do have a few articles on CML like this one: https://blood-cancer.com/living/treatment-progress but just so you know you are not alone! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

  2. Thanks I appreciate you.

  3. I was diagnosed with CML - BCR-Abl (Philadelphia variant) in 2017 (at 57), ironically - I currently live near Philadelphia and now go to the U of Penn where my variant was discovered. Have had some reactions w/my chemo (Sprycel) - anemia and fluid on my lungs (went on a short "vacation" off the chemo, back on now).

  4. Yes. Have had the same reactions and have also taken short pauses from sprycel upto 2 weeks with Dr approval. This mostly happen when I was on 200mg. After it was lowered to 100, haven't had to take any pauses. Thank God.
