I didn't know I had a problem until we were on vacation and passed out in the shower. I didn't know that what I was going through. Had gone to the hospital several times and not once did they do a blood test.
For me it was simnilar. Finally after a week of feeling awful and being told it was a bleeding ulcer I went to the emergency room because I could hear my heart beating in my ear. Sounded bad. Turns out I was super low on hemoglobin. They still spent three weeks telling me it was an ulcer and even sent me home once, but it turns out they finally saw a "shadow" on my scan. At that point I said, nope, not this hospital that missed it for weeks and trransferred to the city. They got me into remission so no regrets there!
