What are some tips to manage blood cancer

Back in March i went to my doctors to get my PSA results but while i was there my doctor said there is something else i need to talk to you about he said it looks like you have to many red blood cells and you will have to have Venesections to get it down to a normal level which i started about a week later a pint of blood every 2 weeks but it wasn't coming down quick enough so after about the 6th week they called me back in to have another pint of blood taken out then the next week i was having 2 pints of blood taken out a week for about a month till my bloods were down to a normal level and was put on 75mg Aspirin and 500mg Hydroxycarbamide after i was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera by my Haematologist at Warwick Hospital im 69 years old
