Essential Thrombosis: What a wild ride

I was diagnosed at 42 yesterday old. My parents passed away and just had my second child. The intensity of the moment...my mother had polycythemia vera and it evolved into acute leukemia. I have had terrible numbers and better ones linked to stress and overall health. I am borderline anemic and my platelets are holding in range. Spleen is enlarged and it's driven by the disease. I am 2 aspirins daily. And...I pray for miracles...for good numbers. I am blessed to have seen my babies graduate from high school and soon? college. One day at a time...
