CLL you picked the wrong person
I had a sore throat during COVID. Couldn't see many doctors in person back then. My ENT did test after test, and I finally said I'd know if I'd had a growing infection for a few years now.
Reluctantly, she did another test, which came back labeled "Caution, check for lymphatic disease." Eventually, I found a doctor that specializes in CLL.
Last month, I started a drug trial. I've had 4 treatments so far. I started while in good physical shape. Aside from a severe side effect upon the first introduction of a BTK inhibitor, I’m okay and vow to make it through the trial and obtain remission for years to come!
