After the blood test at the ER, I was told I had blasts!! I asked, "What's that?" They said I have leukemia. I was in disbelief. No one in my family had blood cancer but it's not hereditary. That was 7 years ago, and four months after I became a widow and lost my toy poodle, Buster!

Two years ago, my daughter moved in with me as a caregiver and brought her dog Luigi! He brings such joy to our lives. He is part Shihtzu and part Maltese, a beautiful white dog, 4 years old now. We are so loved and entertained by his antics!
