Blood-Cancer.com community advocate Valarie TraynhamValarie Traynham is a multiple myeloma patient advocate, research advocate, and community leader. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2015 and has since dedicated herself to raising awareness, especially within the African American community. Valarie is passionate about increasing representation in the cancer space, creating safe spaces for Black myeloma warriors, and empowering others to find purpose beyond their diagnosis. Through her work with a research and advocacy non-profit and her growing online community, she shares real stories, resources, and hope for those navigating life with myeloma.
