Managing mesenteric mass
I am a retired pediatric radiologist with recently diagnosed with sll/cll.
I have a 10cm mesenteric mass. Such is unusual, and there is very little published in the literature. I am interested in the its management. I don't like uncertainty, and "watch and wait" is not an option.
Sorry to learn of your diagnosis. I did not expect nor did I anticipate a blood cancer diagnosis but it happened. There was not much I could do after the fact to change it.
I found getting more information was very valuable as was getting second and third opinions from different providers and even different treatment centers. While the process is challenging I discovered supporting the process paid off. Good luck on your journey Dennis(Blood-Cancer.com TEAM)
thanks for reaching out. We are unable to give medical advice here, but hopefully there will be others who share your diagnosis who can also share their experiences. I do know it is very typical to watch and wait with CLL, but it's understandable that you are concerned about the mass. Have you spoken to a hematologist or more than one? Please let us know if there are other ways we can support you.
