Managing mesenteric mass

I am a retired pediatric radiologist with recently diagnosed with sll/cll.
I have a 10cm mesenteric mass. Such is unusual, and there is very little published in the literature. I am interested in the its management. I don't like uncertainty, and "watch and wait" is not an option.

  1. Sorry to learn of your diagnosis. I did not expect nor did I anticipate a blood cancer diagnosis but it happened. There was not much I could do after the fact to change it.
I found getting more information was very valuable as was getting second and third opinions from different providers and even different treatment centers. While the process is challenging I discovered supporting the process paid off. Good luck on your journey Dennis(Blood-Cancer.com TEAM)

    1. thanks for reaching out. We are unable to give medical advice here, but hopefully there will be others who share your diagnosis who can also share their experiences. I do know it is very typical to watch and wait with CLL, but it's understandable that you are concerned about the mass. Have you spoken to a hematologist or more than one? Please let us know if there are other ways we can support you.
