          1. Hi Vickie when you first hear that you have cancer it hits like a ton of bricks. We have all been there and we all get it. Personally i have fought and beat cancer 4 times. In many ways cancer has become a treatable disease vs what it was a few years ago. We have come to understand that things like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and more while not pleasant can be lived with and treated successfully. The key for me was to understand that with cancer it is best to take it one day at a time and let things evolve. Look for the joys in your life and focus on those vs on possible negative outcomes that may never apply to you or your situation. You can get some good support here and I often suggest to folks in my support group s - stay away from Dr Google as most of what you read, hear and see well not impact you. Please keep in touch after all many of us have walked the same path a few steps ahead of you. And yes - I am also now in remission. Dennis (Blood-Cancer.com TEAM)
