I would let them know it's not a death sentence
It can sure feel that way sometimes. It's true though. I've lived with leukemia since 2011 and I'm still here. Life changes, that's true. It still has it's very good days worth fighting for. Life isn't over, it is more challenging and complicated, but it isn't over. Thanks for commenting, Maria.
Question everything! Ask the big and small questions, nothing is unimportant when you are dealing with your health and life. There are no "stupid" questions in this situations.
Thank you for pointing this out. I think many of us are intimidated by doctors, but we can't let that get in the way of finding out important health information. It could be the difference between life and death! Take care, Ronni (team member)
