Tips to Consider on Infusion Days...
I think drinking a few cups of water helps get those veins ready for the IV, at least for those who don't have ports.
What are your tips for infusion days?
Hi Dan, Yep those hot packs worked some of the time. I even see thay have a vein machine to easily find the veins to use, but I don't think it was as helpful; you have to ask for it.I always had to warn from going to my hand, where the veins popped out like an amazon. 😀

I would always try to get outside and enjoy some fresh air on infusion days because I knew I'd be out of commission for about a week following the appointment and cooped up inside. I would also always treat myself to a chocolate chip pancake before I left the house. Not the healthiest advice, but it was something small that I looked forward to each time! 😀
That is great Crystal! I don't believe that chocolate chip pancake mattered, as infusion usually has most people wrecked with limited appetites after... gotta live, so go for it.
