For me, there's always that push and pull of should I or shouldn't I when it comes to traditional treatment options. Have you ever thought about using things like natural treatments? How'd that work out for you?
I haven't had any non-traditional treatments for the cancer itself, but I do live my life in preventative ways and do my best to avoid carcinogenic products. I considered holistic treatment when I was diagnosed but because how late staged I was, I made the decision to take a somewhat complementary approach. But I do think a lot about what treatment plan I would follow if I were to relapse!

I agree with using complementary options that make sense. I tried this tea that was a buzz for a minute, but it actually activated my liver in a negative way. I will say my team was open for my suggestions and let me experiment until it was clear I needed the big dogs in chemo (In my case) to save my day. Best!
