I want people to know that we are normal people, just like them, only with cancer. That MM is not something that they can get from me. We are not contagious!
Exactly! What we survive every single day is not something that will impact the health of others. While I don't expect everyone to understand every disease out there, I do want others to know that it is safe to be with me. I have leukemia and I wrote an article about how I was treated by a coworker (Project Spew away). We are not contagious and a little understanding goes a long way. Indeed! If those confused truly wanted to know they would do their own due diligence and learn about it, rather assuming. Hang in there as there will be all types on this journey! Wishing you the very best!
