  1. I’ve been on both sides, having a caregiver (my mommy💜) my mom is AMAZING! She did everything in her power and everything right. I do wish she would have taken more time to herself. She was so concerned about me that I had to beg her to take time for herself. I knew everything was wearing heavy on her. We battled cancer for 10years together. I love my mom. I did notice when the roles switch and I became the caregiver; she has a ruptured brain aneurysm I found myself not taking time for myself to sleep, eat, just…. I was so concerned about losing my mom. I made no time for me to take some rest for myself. I’m learning self care 🧖🏾‍♀️ is IMPORTANT as well. My advice is make sure you take some time to smell the flowers 💐 breath 🌬 and rest 🫂💞🐼

    1. rackeln - My husband has been my caregiver throughout my almost 9-year Myeloma journey. He has only missed two appointments out of all of my blood labs/doctor appointments/procedures. He has always been my notetaker during doctor appointments. Before each appointment, we make out our questions for the doctor together. He is really good to ask clarifying and follow-up questions. I so appreciate everything he does. There have only been a couple of times that he has shared things during a doctor visit that we have not agreed upon. After the appointments, I let him know we needed to be on the same page and he has apologized.

      1. I hope you don’t take offense to this but I just want to say how beautiful this is; although the situation is not so great the fact that you both are working together, your husband is there every step of the way, and even in disagreements or you’re not on the exact same page you guys communicate to where you can both be on the same page this is very beautiful. Love always wins♥️🙏🏾 Amanda 🐼Team member

      2. I'm glad you and your husband talked out your concern. I totally agree everyone especially your care partner has to be on the same page. Best!

    2. Yes, he is amazing! We work together through this journey and he is an equal partner in my care team.
