2nd round of chemo then sst

Kind of nervous about all that could happen, especially after the 2nd dose of the first round almost killed me, has anyone experienced anything like this if so I would love some feedback. Thank you, and God bless

  1. thanks for sharing. It's understandable that you would feel nervous. Many of us here have had some scary things happen during treatment. You are not alone. In my experience with 3 separate bouts of leukemia, the medical team really pays attention and takes note to keep adverse reactions from happening again. Since we are all unique in our body chemistry, scary things unfortunately happen. I hope you can trust that your doctor and those administering the treatment have got it all under control.

I'm sharing an inspiring article from someone who also had complications initially with treatment. I hope you find it helpful. We are all so different in our responses, but I hope it helps you feel hopeful that your medical team can make adjustments to find what is right for you.

    1. I'm sorry to hear that you experienced this; I'm hoping your doctor and team figure out how to fine-tune your treatment for the next go so that it is less stressful. I'm sure the experience has you on edge if you weren't already in the first go. Wishing you the very best!
