Amyloidosis and Smoldering Myeloma
Mine is not a blood cancer, per se, but it’s generated in the same place, the bone marrow. Just like multiple myeloma.
It is currently treated with 120 mg, monthly, of Darzalex by infusion.
Trying multiple treatment options
I’m currently in remission after three years of trying other treatments like a stem cell transplant and six months of chemo which both failed.
In addition, I take 5 mg of Revlimid for 21 days then seven days off as a stopgap measure for the smoldering multiple myeloma that showed up in my bone marrow biopsy.
No symptoms on that one as of now.
