Rethinking Stress: How Cancer Changes Perspective

Have you noticed that you handle stress differently since dealing with cancer? It might be an odd question, but do you ever reflect on situations that, in hindsight, weren’t really worth the attention or energy you gave them? Or times when you thought something was stress-related but realized it wasn’t as significant as it seemed?

  2. I like to think I've "made friends with it". I just started this journey December 2024. Life expectancy, if managed well, is 14-20 years. I will be 69 yo this year. In 14-20 yrs I'll be in my 80s. I'm thinking I will be "done" by then anyway.

    1. That sounds like a healthy way to look at it. I mean "healthy," but you know what I mean. 😊 Just remember though, either way, you can always come here to be with others who understand what it's like! Even in 14 years!! Keep on keepin' on, DPM
