Navigating Relapse: Personal Experiences and Strategies

Have you experienced a relapse of your blood cancer? What was your initial reaction to the news, and how did you manage those emotions? How did you communicate the news of your relapse to family and friends, and what support did you find most helpful?

  1. YES

    1. I am uncertain of what to do next. The mass encases critical blood vessels.

      1. Yes I have. I have Mantle cell lymphoma. Been fighting it now for 3.6 years first did Cemo &Retuction, (not sure of spelling) was inactive for 2.2 years. Became active from November of last year, now I'm on Brukinsa . It's a BTK inhibitor. So far so good. But it can't be cured and average lifetime is 6.8 yeas. So I'm still fighting but taking one day at a time.

        1. Happy to hear that your treatment is going well so far. I remind everyone to try and live in the present, and though the stats seem dire, every case and patient is so very different. Wishing you the very best!

      2. Thank you Yolanda. Yes I live day to day, I plan for the next day and never a week ahead. Never know what to expect with this cancer. Have a great life young lady.
