Mindfulness Considerations

As the New Year approached I thought it very beneficial to start again with mindfulness techniques. Mindfulness Mediation simply put is a tool to use to help reduce chronic pain, and relieve stress. I've used this technique in the past and felt with the money I paid in learning the concept and skills why not continue with it?
I start my morning (before the hectic begins):
*No Television
*Sitting on floor leg crisis -crossed
*Eyes closed
*Intuned to the sounds around me
*Center on my body and breathing
*Manifesting a positive day, while working through, if any, pain or negative energy.

The process literally takes a few minutes and it's been just that mindful of what is...and I love it!

What tools for the New Year have you considered to make this engine called life tolerable?

  1. I do stretches before I get up. In the morning its hard to get moving sometimes with the joints aching. My physiotherapist gave me an app with the most useful stretches and it helps me get loosened up for the day 😀

  2. I use The Bible app prayer meditation 🧘🏾‍♀️ with words of affirmation to get my day started or even when I need to take a breather. 💜

    1. Awesome! Yes, I have an affirmation book with some daily affirmations right by my side as well. Best!

  3. Very similar - My sunroom overlooks a wooded area where i sit breathe deeply and listen to the subtle sounds of wind and chimes on a speaker. It takes me 15 minutes - after that the day starts. Dennis(Blood-Cancer.com TEAM)

    1. There you go, Dennis! There's always time to make some adjustments if you are ready to do so, that is. I see a lot of us are following the playbook of some form of mindfulness for the New Year. Best!
