Did You Take Life For Granted

Before my diagnosis every day was just another routine day. After 6 months of chemo I came to realize that " Every Day is A Special Day."
Has a cancer diagnosis helped you to live live differently and perhaps with more gusto? Tell us how it impacted you

  1. I know being diagnosed with cancer has definitely changed my outlook on life, life is short and so we must live it to our full potential. And safe standing though but live life, enjoy life, it is a present, and take it all in. This is how I try to live my life because you’re right! life is short & life is a gift.

    1. The photo (was taken off of my son's dock in N Wisconsin just before a tornado hit ). It can be seen as the dawn of a new day with new challenges to be overcome or ... as a sunset with the day's challenges behind you - all depends on how we choose to see life when living with blood-cancer. And yes we were all OK after the tornado passed the dock did not do well and has since been replaced - Dennis(Blood-Cancer.com TEAM)

  2. So true, and I cannot be reminded enough of The positive viewpoint. I know I am being repetitive, but... "cannot look back, we cannot change. Live for now - Enjoy! We will live and be able to handle whatever tomorrow may bring 🌻

Your experience is exactly that! Enjoying the precious moments of that evening ... then taking care of tomorrow (never expected). THE Important point... did not miss a memorable beautiful time on the dock 🙂 Appreciate your share! 🌻

    1. In the game of life we have possibilities AND we have opportunities. I believe the reason things don't go well at times is because we tend to focus on possibilities while overlooking the opportunities that surround us every day.
