Oh, how true that statement is! And so is the frustration of hoping others will take the time to understand how hard it really is to survive blood cancer.

Girl you look so freaking GOOD!! I really relate to this whole video but ESPECIALLY the food. Eating out has become a whole chore. Trying to read the menu before hand, then explaining to people why I can't eat a lot, explaining it's not an aesthetic thing 🙄 I'm eating salad because today because it's the only thing I can eat. Happy Halloween! I'm being Gomez Addams but a female version. 👻🕸️🕷️

You look great, Amanda! I know it must be frustrating when you're young when friends don't understand your health issues. (It's not a picnic when you're a senior citizen, either!) We Americans think everything has a quick fix, so why aren't you well already?! Keep going, rest, but never give up. Most of all, take care of yourself!

 You look awesome as usual. So far at the moment I'm at 3 yrs 6 months after SCT, ND still dealing with cGvH with my skin, chronic dry eye and chronic dry mouth caused by cGvH. As for foods, fortunately I'm pretty much finally back to normal except cream cheese and sour cream. They still taste funky...lol. Hopefully I will be able to eat those someday again as I love them in so many different foods. My biggest problem is all the steroids they had me on for so long. Put a lot of weight on me real quick, and it's taking up my lower back making it very difficult to stand for very Ling much less walking being difficult as well. And the neurologist won't touch my back until I'm off all these mes and get my natural immune system back...if that ever happens. So...is there a normal life after chemo and Stem Cell Transplant? I wonder sometimes. I am, though, extremely grateful to still be alive though. Best wishes. Happy Halloween my friends.
