Angel Survivor

I am a 44 year survivor of acute lymphocytic leukemia. I was diagnosed with leukemia in March 1977. It has been a long hard journey for me. My maternal grandmother played a key role in my diagnosis. She saw bruises on my legs and told my parents to get me to a doctor to find out what was wrong with me. It turned out to be leukemia. My family almost lost me twice at the beginning. Thanks to the chemotherapy and radiation I received and also lots of prayers, I am here today.
