Just Another Long Term Side Effect: Hypothyroidism

Chemo: The gift that keeps on giving, am I right?! The “new normal” we experience with cancer is not just learning how to navigate our lives personally and socially, but also how to navigate new health issues that may be chronic and last long after treatment ends. Issues like hypothyroidism and other endocrine problems can be possible side effects from harsh drugs, like chemo, and lucky me… I was diagnosed with it! It’s important for me to share with you what I experienced that led to the diagnosis and what the treatment process is like.

Let me know in the comments below if this is a side effect you experience as well!
