Finding Ways To Deal With Side Effects Of Treatment

My husband has multiple myeloma stage 3. The current treatment; chemo immunotherapy followed by high doses of dexamethasone.

Unfortunately, the dexamethasone causes him to be jittery, grumpy and cross. I thought to my self, I cannot do this every Thursday forever.

So, I started reading and reading. Thank goodness our state allows medical marijuana. I found an oil/extract to counteract the side effects.

It comes in an insulin size syringe, filled with 1000mg. I only need to give him a small amount (the size of a grain of rice) my husband and I refer to it as black tar and it works!

No more jitters, no more grumpy ness. Now we both enjoy Thursdays again!

Our pain management Doctor was going to share our find with other patients. Worth a try.
