MOM THIS IS FOR YOU
Where do I begin? Almost a year ago, my mom was diagnosed with MDS. After a few months, she was re-diagnosed with AML. I’ll be honest, I had no idea what either of these cancers were, or how they would impact our lives forever. I started to research them and became more scared of the road we were about to travel down.
All I knew is we had to beat it, and giving up was not an option. After many rounds of different chemo drugs, many months in a hospital, my mom’s outcome did not look so great. Currently, she is in hospice care. My heart breaks because she has tried so hard, and yet she’s having to lay in bed, watching time pass too fast.
