Ingredients for Meaty Mac and Cheese

  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 2 cups of macaroni
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 stick of butter (cut into pieces)
  • 4 cups of beef sausage link
  • 2 cups of frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 cups of frozen chopped spinach

Direction for Meaty Mac and Cheese!

  1. Turn oven to 350 degrees and oil desired pan.
  2. Boil water for macaroni, drain macaroni once macaroni is ready, and return to desired pan.
  3. Grab a cutting board and cut beef sausage links into slices.
  4. Put another skillet on stove and set stove to medium heat. Take beef sausage links slices begin to grill to a slight brown but not too much brown and then set aside.
  5. Take all other ingredients: 3 cups of cheddar cheese (leave 1 cup cheese set a side), 3 eggs, 1 cup evaporated milk, 1/2 cup of sour cream,1/2 teaspoon salt, cut pieces of butter, 2 cups of macaroni, 2 cups of broccoli, 2 cups of spinach, and 2 cups of beef sausage links, mix it all together and put ingredients in large oven-proof pan.
  6. Put meaty mac and cheese in oven and let it bake for 45 minutes total. For the last 10 minutes, take the 1 cup of cheese that was set a side and sprinkle remaining cheese on meal. Allow the cheese to turn golden brown in the oven.
  7. Let meal cool from oven and ENJOY!
