Hi
@tonka, I struggle with anxiety too. Have you spoken to your doctor about how you have been feeling? Thinking of you, Shayla (Blood-Cancer.com, Team member)
tonka1989 I look at it this way - There is not much I can do about my cancers - Treating the monster(s) is best left up to the surgeons, oncologists and more.
Given I have NO control over how the disease will react to treatments I can control how I view my life.
The following questions are next to my bed and I read them out loud to myself every AM
- Am I not the very same person I was before cancer?
- Am I not free to think happier things today?
- Will my cancer hold me back today or will I hold my self back from the many things I want to do?
At night I answer the questions I asked earlier
- Here are 3 ways my cancer did not hold me back today
- Here are the 5 joys I experienced today.
- Here are the 7 things I did today just as I did before cancer
Works for me - and who knows it may for you as well
