"It is official now, on 20th of march through March 27th -as out patient - I go to U of MN for lots of test, biopsy -spinal tap (ouch) -and my donor is getting their test completed to make sure they are healthy and can proceed. Then on April 2nd, I check into hospital for the transplant journey. Followed by out patient and lots of follow up with clinic for few weeks...."

they told me 4 to 6 weeks in hospital followed by 100 days of isolated within 20 min of clinic -am staying with my brother -plus plenty of follow up appts to check on me
They said after donor passed their test and are healthy -they will tell me the age-sex and general location they live it
I'm happy for you that things are scheduled. Wishing you the best as you move forward with your transplant. on day 2 in hospital. Had first day of intense chemo and good news it is T-6 for bone marrow transplant
